Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! Though I'm not usually the one to be in the Halloween spirit, I still dress up. I mean c'mon, I'm not going to be a party pooper. I'm not crazy about Halloween and I don't need to plan months in advance for what I will dress up as. I know people who are pretty obsessed with this Holiday, not me though. Anyway, this year I made my costume, which cost me less than $10. I usually either buy my costume last minute for marked up prices or borrow one of my sister's costumes.

So the story behind my costume...I asked Diana, whose favorite holiday is Halloween. She is crazy serious about this holiday and usually plans her costume out months in advance. I told her it'd be cool if we followed a theme/matched. She already had a costume in mind and would not tell me what it was, she does this EVERY year. It's always a surprise! She made a deal with me, that she'd tell me what her costume was if I 1) collaborated with her 2) I could not tell anyone what I was going to be. I got barely any hints of what her costume would be. I thought about it for a few weeks and eventually gave in and decided to go with her theme.

I also wanted to stray away from the clubbing scene. It's the same old thing every single year.  I definitely did not want to spend any money on overly priced tickets in the same scene.  I mean you already need to pay for drinks, why would I want to pay admission to a party with nothing worth seeing (i.e. cool halloween decorations).  Since I've never really bar hopped before, I really wanted to do it for halloween! I had a freaking blast and it was so much fun!

Here are pics from Saturday night bar hopping on Polk!

Our matching cave women costumes!  I added a fake chinchilla vest so that I could stay warm at night.  It matches with theme though!

Ended our bar hopping adventure at Mark's

What an incredibly fun night spent with great company in a completely different scene!
