I've known Amy for awhile now, but it wasn't until the past couple of years that we've grown closer. Last friday, we celebrated her birthday. This is the third birthday in a row that I've celebrated with her. We celebrated to a nice dinner at Luce located inside the Intercontinental Hotel on Howard Street. I definitely thought the meal was overpriced for the quality, the service we got and the amount of food.
Though the meal wasn't worth it, the topics of conversation, the company, the memories and Amy's happiness is priceless. There are just some things in life where you can not put a price tag for...and happiness is definitely one of them.
After dinner we made our way to the lounge at the W Hotel for some drinks. As we get older, we've begun to stray away from the binge drinking celebrations and just celebrate in class.

My birthday present to her! I think as we get older, we tend to abandon those bright colors and go for more natural and subtle colors. I got her the Naked Palette because I LOVE MINE and I know she'd love it to.
