desserts|stressed

Did you know that desserts is stressed spelled backwards.  My interpretation: If you're ever stressed, count on desserts to reverse that for you.

It was definitely a stressed day, starting with road block on my way to work.  I think they're filming some movie of some sort in my neighborhood, took me some time to get around it all.
We're still short staffed at work, so everyone is pulling their own weight and then some.  As a result, I snacked on all the desserts that we had in our office: pocky sticks, japanese rice crackers and some bomblicious toffee, almond, gram cracker treats made by a patient.  They were good and I've got to admit...it was an instant stress reliever.


Early celebration dinner with the family! Of course it's Chinese food.  My mom won't eat anything else.  Currently feeling a little queezy...I think I ate too much today and my stomach doesn't have room for everything.

I haven't eaten like this in awhile, where I stuff myself to the point where my stomach hurts...I guess it really was a stressful day!

Great conversations about foodie places, funny stories about my mom and huey, my brother's trip down to socal in an attempt to see a very MIA family member and an Alzheimer old man.
