Blissful weekend...dreadful Mondays

I don't know about anyone else, but I was woken up by the earthquake early this morning at around 5:30am.  I was having a great dream too. That was the start to my morning.  It shook my bed so hard that it startled me and woke me up.  I looked around, no one there and realized it was an earthquake.  Two more hours I told myself and went back to sleep.

The day progressed with horrible horrible allergies.  Sneezing and runny nose. How miserable.  The weather wasn't helpful and I was tired (perhaps because I got woken up from deep sleep).

 

My chillaxin' outfit of the day. I was hoping the gorgeous weather would continue into today so I wore this maxi dress with my comfy  Herringbone fleece toms.

Anyhow, I had a great weekend and spent most of it out doors enjoying the beautiful weather.

Started Saturday morning early with some brunch at Mama's.  Henry has been dying to try this place, so we decided on this place.  We got there at about 9am and the line was more than 20 people deep.  Only waited a little over an hour before we ordered.  Crab benedicts and Monte Cristo. Delicious.

 

After running a couple of errands, Henry brought me to Los Gatos so that I could pick out my birthday cake.  How weird. I've never had someone make me go choose my birthday cake before...

Icing on the cake is a cute little bakery smack downtown of Los gatos.  Their desserts is really something to die for. Moist cake, creamy frosting for a decent price.  I picked up a few boxes of goodies for some friends, who all LOVED it!  If you're ever down in that area, you definitely need to make a stop there. Try their banana cake, you will not regret it as it's like a "piece of heaven in your mouth".

GNO with one of my nearest and dearests. Definitely reminisced about those days where we used to go out together all the time. With our busy lives, we don't see each other as much, but every time we do...there's always so much to catch up on.

I wasn't for sure whether or not I was going out, so I didn't have anything at Henry's.  I just pulled together this old Top Shop top I had and threw on a black tight skirt underneath to make it look like a dress. It worked.

I had a very productive Sunday. Haircut, Chinatown adventures for the bf, picked up bday cake for Henry's cousin and Shabu house for dinner. This boy loves his meat.
