A long overdue post!
I would have to agree with those who think of Maui as a great vacation spot for those who are seeking for tranquility. My girlfriends and I planned a trip to Maui to attend our friends' wedding and squeezed in some vacay time as well. This by far has been one of my most relaxing trips we have gone on together. It was a good change to have. For once we were not waking up super early in another time zone trying to visit tourist spots on checklist of things to do. Nor were we partying til the crack of dawn. We got to relax to great scenery, soft Hawaiian sand, warm weather, our resort's infinity pool and each other's company. With everyone's schedule being so busy, it's hard for us to get together for a drink/meal to just catch up. Definitely a much needed breather from work and the hustling and bustling of the city life. It's good to get away sometimes and this was just what I needed. Have not a care in the world, lay by the pool, tan, lose track of time and just ENJOY!
A few snapshots from the trip...
Diana and I walking on the beach at the back of our resort.
Beautiful pic taken by the bff, Jenny.
I love this artsy pic taken by the BFF!
Relaxation to the fullest at our infinity pool overlooking the ocean!
There was a lily pond at our resort. The lilies would close up when it got dark and opened up during the day. Love the beauty of nature.
Snorkeling. We loved it so much that we went Friday and Saturday morning! The water wasn't too deep and we were still able to see a lot of fishes. Beautiful.
After snorkeling and frolicking at the beach we squeezed in some photo ops. <3 my girls.
Bo and Ray's Wedding at the Four Seasons. Breathtaking!
Congrats to Bo and Ray!! <3
I got so dark from the sun that morning. Oops.
Ziplining with EcoAdventures! So much fun!
